dpmaurer: fill my brain book

David Patrick Maurer was born in a little town called Port Huron, Michigan, which was and is a lot like Stephen King's fictional town of Derry, only after most of the stores and restaurants closed and the jobs went away. (The monsters, however, stayed and eventually became involved in politics. This happens everywhere.)

He currently lives with his wife, two children, mom, and an increasing number of animals in the wilds of Ohio, where the monsters don't even pretend to be anything else.
